# Adobe Illustrator does not correctly charge for color jobs

Printing from Adobe Illustrator, the color setting in the driver is not detected and print jobs are not charged by Pharos as color print jobs.

---

This is a known issue with Adobe Illustrator, whereby Adobe Illustrator determines the color setting independently of the driver setting. The Adobe Illustrator print settings include two options:

- Illustrator determines colors (default)

- Postscript determines colors

Selecting the "Postscript determines colors" option will cause the driver to insert the color attributes into the print job and allow Pharos to detect the color setting correctly.
