# 'Billing cancelled by plug-in: AT&T replied invalid transaction for tender:01'.

### Problem:

"Billing cancelled by plug-in: AT&T replied invalid transaction for tender:01".

### Applies To:

AT&T Server and Pharos AT&T Gateway

---

### Cause:

Bug in AT&T Server

### Solution:

Unfortunately this error comes directly from AT&T and is a generic message. Looking at the protocol documents "AT&T replied invalid transaction for tender:01" is used for several problems; a negative balance is only one of these problems. For this reason we are hesitant to display a negative balance error every time we receive the invalid transaction error, as it would be misleading (e.g. to a user that has a positive balance and the cause of the error is a lack of permissions).

Our understanding is that AT&T is aware of problems with their gateway going into a negative balance and are working on resolving this issue. We recommend contacting your AT&T representative to see if there are any fixes for this issue.
