# Blueprint: Changing the location of the Blueprint SQL database backup.

#### **Question:**

How do I change the location of the scheduled Blueprint SQL database backup?

#### **Answer:**

Before following this procedure, create the directory structure for the new SQL database backup location. The SQL backup routine will not automatically create the directory structure if it does not already exist.

1. Open the **SQL Management Studio**.
2. Expand the **SQL Server Agent** category.
3. Expand the **Jobs** category.
4. Double click the **Pharos Blueprint Database Backup** job to open its properties.
5. Select the Steps menu from the left side pane.
6. For each step listed, select the step and click the **Edit** button. Change the file path in the SQL statement in the **Command** pane. Save the new setting by clicking the OK button.
7. Close the Job Properties window by clicking the **OK** button.
8. If using Blueprint 5.0 or greater, repeat the steps 4 - 7 for the **Pharos Blueprint Data Warehouse Backup** job.
