# Blueprint Enterprise functionality when the license expires.

What happens when a Blueprint Enterprise license expires?

---

If a Blueprint Enterprise license key expires the following is expected to happen:

1. Users will not be able to release jobs from Secure Release terminals. Upon login, they will receive a message about an expired license.
2. If Policy Print is in use, Policies will not be applied to print jobs.
3. PeriodEnd reporting will not function; if using Blueprint 5.0, publications to the data warehouse will cease to complete beyond the expiry date.
4. Reports cannot be generated.
5. Most administrative efforts in Blueprint Administrator will fail.

Users can continue to print to non-Secure Release queues and devices, and the Tracker will continue to track jobs and forward this information to its parent Blueprint server. However, this data will not be added to the database for reporting purposes.
