# Blueprint error: "Request failed with HTTP status 504: proxy time out"

I am receiving the following error when testing settings with the Blueprint Server Configuration tool (using .NET standard remoting):

"request failed with HTTP status 504: proxy time out"

This issue is caused by DNS not resolving the server host name correctly.

In the Blueprint Server Configuration tool, change the Server/Hostname field to use IP Address, then run the application test again.
