# Blueprint servers fail HTTP connectivity test

Collector servers fail to communicate with the Analyst with the message:

"The test for HTTP connectivity to the parent server failed."

The affected servers may not appear on the Server Health screen at the Analyst, or they may appear, but generate error messages when the Update Status or Clear Replicated Data buttons are clicked.

---

Check that the correct Server Name and HTTP port have been specified. If these values are correct, it may be that Blueprint cannot communicate on the ports used by Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).

By default, the ports necessary for WCF communication are not open. Ensure that these ports are open on all Collectors and the Analyst. Alternatively, add the Blueprint TaskMaster executable as an allowed application in the Windows Firewall.
