# Canon USB Magnetic Card Swipe Error Codes

Canon USB Magnetic Card Swipe Error Codes

"Error 10011" - "The track content is the error code \'E\'"

This means that either the hardware failed to read the track or, when we interpreted the track content we could not make sense of it and set the value to E.

"Error 10012" - "Range Check error on tracks array"

This means that the requested track is out of bounds (<1 or >3), the regular expression parser found no tracks in the data, or the track requested was not found in the track data; that is if the user requested track 3 but only 2 tracks were read from the card.
