# Card reader data tracks supported by Pharos Omega devices

What card reader data tracks can be read by the Pharos Omega device?

---

All Pharos Omega devices support the reading of card data on track 2 only from standard non-encrypted magnetic cards. Customers that need to have additional tracks returned should contact Pharos Sales to source an external serial card reader that will return all card tracks.

The new generation ***PS150*** devices support reading from all tracks.

PS150 devices need to be configured to enable the reading of additional track data. To do this:

1. Open Pharos Administrator.
2. Select the Pharos Stations > Network Terminals context.
3. Select the appropriate option for the "Collect Data From" property on the Card Reader tab.
4. Save and restart the terminal.

**NOTE:** The Omega Station application will always strip the default start and end sentinels from the SmartPAD build-in card reader and serial card readers' data streams.
