# Changing a Printer’s IP Address

### Problem

You are changing the IP addresses of the printers and are looking for a way to change this in Blueprint Administrator, so the printers show the new IP addresses.

### Solution

Changing the IP address of a printer is a straightforward process within the printer's Terminal record. Doing this will cascade the changes appropriately. Make sure to click update Terminals on Collector button after making all changes.

For example, if we are changing the printer with the information below:

Current IP: 111.111.1.11

New IP: 222.222.2.22

1. In Blueprint admin on Analyst, go to Device Management > Terminal

2. Change Device Network Address to 222.222.2.22, click Apply.

3. Go to Device Management > Devices and find 111.111.1.11

4. Under Device Details, update Device: field to 222.222.2.22, and click Apply.
