Question:
How do I change the currency symbol that is displayed in the Blueprint Administrator and Blueprint Reports?
Answer:
The Blueprint services by default run as LocalSystem. This account uses the Default User profile, so changes made while logged in as another user will not affect the regional settings of the services. The Default User profile can be adjusted by following these steps in the Regional and Language Options control panel applet, after you have made the required changes:
For Windows 2003 Server:
Select the Adminstrative tab.
Enable the 'Apply all settings...' checkbox and click OK.
For Windows 2008 Server:
Select the Administrative tab.
Click 'Copy to Reserved Accounts'.
For Windows Server 2012 and greater:
Select the Administrative tab.
Click 'Copy Settings' button.
Enable the checkbox for 'Welcome screen and system accounts' and click OK.

Then check the box for "Welcome screen and system accounts". Click OK exiting the dialog windows by using the OK button.
Restart the computer and the new settings will now apply to the system accounts which Blueprint is using.
