Article summary

On a cluster server, every time I apply a registry key to enable logging or change the Host Name it seems to disappear when certain Pharos services start or restart.

Remove the registry replication that is associated with each Pharos Server:

  1. Open Cluster Administrator

  2. Go to Disk Group 1

  3. Right Click on the a Pharos Service

  4. Click on Registry Replication

  5. Remove the entry "Software\Pharos"

  6. Complete this process for each Pharos Service and on both nodes

  7. Then stop the services / take them offline

  8. Apply the specific keys

  9. Add the Registry Replication entry "Software\Pharos" to each Pharos service

  10. Bring the services back online

The new registry settings will be saved in the registry.
