# Configuring the Sharp iMFP in IIS7

How do I configure the Sharp iMFP software in IIS 7?

---

1. Create the SharpAppPool as described in the Sharp iMFP documentation
2. Right click on the new application pool and select "Advanced Settings"
3. Scroll down to Process Model\Idle Time-out (minutes) and set it to 0
4. Scroll down to Recycling\Regular Time Interval (minutes) and set that to 0
5. Click OK

### Change permissions of SharpIMFP directory

If you find that the Sharp App Pool still can't connect to EDI, you may have a permissions issue. The permissions fix in the documentation lists the IIS_WPG group, which is absent in Server 2008. The same workflow of giving full control can be applied in 2008 to the IIS_IUSRS account instead.
