Problem:
When I select Devices from the Assets section or when I attempt to close a period I receive one of the following errors:
"The Model Manager is currently unavailable. Please try again shortly" "The period end settings could not be read"
The Blueprint Administrator log file shows a an message code of "MessageCode: 141254"
How can I correct this problem?
Resolution:
The symptoms are caused by a malformed 'C:\Program
Files\PharosBlueprint\SettingsCache\ServerSettings.xml' cache.
To fix the problem please see the steps below for the version of Blueprint Enterprise you have installed.
For Blueprint 3.5
Stop the TaskMaster service.
Delete the file 'C:\Program Files\PharosBlueprint\SettingsCache\ServerSettings.xml' (it will be automatically re-created correctly).
Start the TaskMaster service.
Blueprint 4.2 through 5.2
Stop the service "Pharos Systems TaskMaster".
Open the directory "C:\ProgramData\PharosSystems\Blueprint\SettingsCache" and create a new folder called "old".
Copy the two files named below in the directory in step 2 to the Old directory you created above.
ServerLastKnownGood.xml
ServerSettings.xml
Delete these two files.
Start the service "Pharos Systems TaskMaster".
*The files will be re-created once the service is started.
