Problem:
Why do the Tracker and EDI service tests in Blueprint Server Configuration fail with a "401" error?
Information:
HTTP 401.x errors (normally 401.1 or 401.3) are caused by NTFS permissions for the Application Pool identity used by IIS to access the web service for clients.
Microsoft has documentation on the default NTSF permissions used by IIS. This article provides a link to the default NTFS permissions on the server for IIS. Once NTFS permissions have been restored, the test should perform as expected and pass.
