# Error message "Unable to connect to the Popup Server, unable to locate the port number."

The error message "Unable to connect to the Popup Server, unable to locate the port number" appears when a user prints using Pharos Popups.

---

This indicates that the .prn file has been deleted from c:\program files\pharos\bin\temp

To correct this:

1. Uninstall Popups on the PC (Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs)
2. Delete the printers used by Popups in Windows Printer Manager.
3. Reboot the PC.
4. Add Local Printer printers.
5. Once you have added the printers on the Client PC, follow the instructions on how to install Popups. Instructions are located in the Pharos Help available on the Pharos CD.
