# Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

When I run the Blueprint Server Configuration tool and test the server, the Tracker Web Service fails and I receive the following error on GUI

“Object reference not set to an instance of an object”

This error occurs when the Trackers are unable to the get the latest settings.

Workaround: 1) Start up Services console and stop the Pharos Systems TaskMaster. 2) Delete the ServerLastKnownGood.xml from the following directory C:\Program Files\PharosSystems\Blueprint\SettingsCache. 3) Start up Services console and start the Pharos Systems TaskMaster. 4) Start up the Blueprint Server Configuration and run the test again this time around the Tracker Web Service should pass.
