# How do I change the Diebold ETI communication port?

Diebold is making changes to the server listening port. How do I update the port information so that the Pharos Diebold ETI gateway communicates on the new port?

The Pharos Diebold ETI Gateway port is specified in the file:

dc_svr file (c:\windows\system32 folder)

To adjust the port, open this file using Notepad and change the ETI communication port number. Save the file and restart the gateway.
