# How do I determine what HP printer firmware I'm running?

The printer firmware version can be found by printing the configuration page from the printer or viewing the Configuration page from the web browser.

To print the configuration page:

1. Press the Menu button on the MFP
2. Select Information
3. Select Print Configuration
4. Locate the Firmware Datecode on page 1 of the printout

To locate using the web browser:

1. Point a web browser at the IP address of the printer
2. From the Information tab choose the Configuration Page option
3. Locate the Firmware Datecode in the Device Information section
