# How do I enable logging on the Mac SignUp Client?

How do I enable logging on the Mac SignUp Client?

---

**On the Mac SignUp Client:**

1. Open up /Library/Preferences/com.pharos.signup.plist in a text editor
2. Add the line "Client Logging Enabled", changing the value from 0 to 1
3. Reboot the machine.

**Alternatively you can also do the following:**

1. Open up a Terminal in /Applications/Utilities and run the below command.

**defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.pharos.signup.plist "Client Logging Enabled" 1**
2. Logs will appear in /Library/Logs/com.pharos.signup.daemon.log and should be sent to Pharos Technical Support with the problem detail.
