# How to configure VCC Card Readers to authenticate card swipe against Card ID field

1. You can configure the system, so that Card Swipes are authenticated against Card ID field in the Pharos Database utilizing a logon script that can be purchased from Pharos Systems.

To acheive this functionality you will be required to configure a Bank, which will be used by the Card Readers. The Bank will need to have the attached Script configured to be associated with the Logon Event.

1. In the Pharos Administrator when configuring Network Terminals (Pharos Station) - Display Options - Print Jobs Shown

- Jobs who's owner - users alias.

Please note that user's alias have to be set as network logon id and logon id set as card id in the Pharos Database.
