How to Import Amazon SSL Certificates to a HP MFP

The following instructions define how to properly import Amazon SSL certificates into a HP MFP.
1. Sign into the HP MFP
2. Navigate to the Certificates screen under Security > Certificate Management
3. Verify the following certificates exist in the certificate list:
- Amazon Root CA 1
- Amazon Root CA 2
- Amazon Root CA 3
- Amazon Root CA 4
- Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2
If all five certificates are present, stop here. No further action is required. Otherwise, please continue to import the missing certificates.
Open https://www.amazontrust.com/repository
Download the DER file for each of the missing certificates (up to 5 files).
1. On the Certificates screen click the Choose File button.
2. Browse and select the DER certificate file.
3. Click import.
Repeat these steps for each missing certificate file.
After importing all certificate files, verify the required certificates exist in the certificate list:
- Amazon Root CA 1
- Amazon Root CA 2
- Amazon Root CA 3
- Amazon Root CA 4
- Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2
If all five are present, stop here. No further action is required. Otherwise, please refer to the previous sections to import the missing certificates.
***The certificates may also be deployed using HP Web Jetadmin and is recommended for larger HP fleets. Please refer to HP documentation for assistance.***
