How can I recover my Pharos Cloud Site Encryption Key?

---

### Answer:

You can try one of the two processes below to obtain your current Site Encryption Key. You can find your key by utilizing the Device Scout or Print Scout commands. It is on the server where you installed the Device Scout).

1. Open an Administrative Command Prompt and navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\PharosSystems\DeviceScout".
2. Enter the following command

**AgentConfiguration.exe /exportsiteencryptionkey**

Or option #2.
3. Open an Administrative Command Prompt and navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\PharosSystems\PrintScout.
4. Run the command below.

**Configuration.exe /exportsiteencryptionkey**

Either option will return a dialog similar to the following dialog.

If Pharos has to reset the Site Encryption Key you will need to re-install all of the Print Scouts again.
