# How to Remove a Batch of Device Data

### Problem

There may be instances where you will need to remove a batch of device data from your instance. For example, you might decide you need to remove all device data that falls within a certain IP range.

### Solution

1. Navigate to Discover > Device Inventory
2. Click on the filter button on the IPv4 Address Column
3. Create an appropriate filter (in this example, I want to delete all IP addresses in the range 10.1.x.x)

4. Multi select all the devices on the page and click on Set Service
5. Multi select all the devices on the page once again and click on Delete

**Note:** This process will also work if you wanted to delete by other columns – for example, Manufacturer, Active in 30 Days.
