# How to use a Custom Print Driver and Default Settings with the Print Scout

#### Goal:

I would like to use my own Print Driver with the Print Scout installations on my client computers that provides a tailored set of Print Driver Defaults along with other settings that I can use when deploying Print Scout software in my environment.

#### Information:

In order to do this we have a PDF attached to this article that outlines in detail the steps to take along with the necessary executables required to perform and build a custom PrinterDriver.zip file that can be used with the Print Scout installer. It includes the steps to create the ZIP file and how you can test your newly created PrinterDriver.zip file.

Should you have any questions please contact Pharos Support (support@pharos.com).
