# Logging MEAP on a Canon device

How to enable logging on Canon printer using the Pharos Canon iMFP software.

Please do the following:

1. Open [http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/Pharos/Config](http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/Pharos/Config) (where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP Address of the device)
2. Login : Login ID = pharos Password = pharos
3. In the Config screen select the following:
  1. Enable Logging = Yes
  2. Logging output = check box “local file”
  3. Threshold = All
  4. Then select Apply at the bottom of the screen.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meap Config Page: http://[IP address]:8000/sms Password: MeapSmsLogin (usually unless previously changed) Phars Config Page: http://[IP Address]:8000/Pharos/Config Password (set in Pharos Administrator under “network devices”) Please Note: This address is case sensitive the P and C need to be capitalized. i.e. [http://134.53.26.237:8000/Pharos/Config](http://134.53.26.237:8000/Pharos/Config)
