## Pharos Sentry Print Service Hotfix (Local and Cloud Connector)

### Pharos Sentry Print Service Bug Fixes

This hotfix includes fixes to the Sentry Print Service across both Local Connector and Cloud Connector environments.

- **MagTek card reader authentication issue** - Fixed an issue where misread swipes on MagTek magnetic stripe readers could, in rare cases, authenticate a user as the wrong account. The Sentry Print Service now detects and rejects invalid card reads on HP and Toshiba devices, preventing them from being registered or used for sign-in.
- **QR sign-in failure on HP printers (Cloud Connector) -** Fixed an intermittent issue where QR sign-in could fail on HP printers secured using the Cloud Connector, even after successful approval in the mobile app.
- **Max File Size not enforced (Scan to Email via Microsoft 365 SMTP) -** Fixed an issue where the Max File Size limit was not enforced for Scan-to-Email jobs sent via Microsoft 365 SMTP. Scans exceeding the configured limit are now correctly blocked, and users receive an appropriate error notification.
- **Log4j vulnerability remediation -** Removed unused Log4j library files from the Pharos Sentry Print Service and Discovery Deployment Utility to address flagged vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-44832, CVE-2025-68161).
