# Omega PS200 Administrator Remote Control Function

I noticed the remote control function has been removed from the PS200's. We currently use or have used this function for testing and troubleshooting.

When trying different browsers the result is the same in that the remote control from the browser to the terminal does not work. I have tried different browsers and also secure connection thinking it may have changed.

Is this function being removed from the new Omega's? Or am I missing some sort of configuration?

The reason Remote Control is not available in the PS200s is because the Linux kernel upon which the software runs does not support VNC.

There are designs to bring this functionality back, but there's no scheduled time as to when this would occur.

Please keep checking the Pharos Support web site for Omega firmware updates.
