# Pharos Blackboard TIA Gateway "Error: Waiting response from gateway x.x.x.x|2111 timed out"

### Environment

Pharos Uniprint with Blackboard TIA Gateway.

### Symptoms

- Slow login at release stations
- System Error Waiting response from gateway x.x.x.x|2111 timed out. That IP address belongs to my Pharos server.

### Cause

The Pharos Blackboard TIA Gateway Configuration has logging enabled but the File Path and File Name fields are not specified.

### Resolution

1. Go to Start menu > All Programs > Pharos > and open Pharos Blackboard TIA Gateway Configuration as administrator.
2. Click Log in the left menu.
3. Select "Log to file" and provide File Path and Name, and click OK.
4. Open Windows Services window and restart Pharos Blackboard TIA Gateway.
