# Pharos IMFP application fails to install.

Pharos IMFP application fails to install.

---

In some cases the Pharos IMFP application will fail to install correctly. The IMFP install will rush through all 9 steps and appears to install but after rebooting the device the Pharos options do not appear. This is due to a change that HP made to their Firmware. By default the Secure Web settings are set to HTTPS REQUIRED instead of HTTPS OPTIONAL. In order for our firmware to install correctly this setting needs to be set to OPTIONAL before attempting the installation. To check this follow the instructions below (depending on the model of device this setting may be found elsewhere).

Settings - Initial Setup - Networking and I/O - Embedded Jetdirect - Security - Secure Web = HTTPS OPTIONAL.
