Pharos IPP Driver Limited to 99 Copies

Prev Next

Problem

You're facing an issue where you are not able to go over 99 copies when using the Pharos IPP print driver. And selecting anything over 99 gets defaulted back to 99 copies.

Information

This is a known limitation with our IPP Class Driver where it allows only 1~99 copies. And in our Print Preference UI, copies can only spin up to 99.

The ‘copies’ capability can also be per printer. Some printers may support more, and some support less. A large number of copies can easily lead to out-of-paper and we use an empirical 1~99 range.

Most manufacturer drivers allow more than 99 copies and can be used as a workaround. Another workaround can be to change the copies to 99 at the iMFP, and set the 'Retain' to true, which allows for re-print.
