# Pharos software (Uniprint, Blueprint, Site Monitor) stop working as expected after Microsoft Security Update KB2507938 is applied.

### Detail

Microsoft has made an architectural change to protect a security venerability. It allowed a user to run elevated code without permission. This change was implemented in Security Update KB2507938. The change made affects a third party library we use in our software and may cause it to be unstable or cease function.

### Relief measure

Any customers reporting instability in Blueprint, Uniprint or Site Monitor services should be advised to uninstall the security update below. Security update KB2507938:
