# Pharos Uniprint and Maple (math software)

Maple will not run when Pharos Popups are installed.

This is confirmed to work with Maple 13 and 14.

For any computer running Microsoft Windows with a Gigabyte of RAM or more and with Maple 10 and Pharos Popup software installed, the following change must be made:

1. Change the "max heap" size by editing the file launch.ini found in Maple's bin.win folder (default C:\Program Files\Maple 10\bin.win).
2. Remove the comment ("#") character and space before the line *maxheap=700m*
3. Change the line so it reads: *maxheap=650m*
4. Save the file and exit.
5. Test Maple and the Pharos Popup.
