# Print Jobs not being cleared out after Reprint Holding Period time expires

### Symptom:

There may be a time where printed jobs seem to never clear the queue without regard for your the time your reprint holding period is set to.

---

### Resolution:

You can manually delete them from the Pharos Administrator but this process should be automatic based on your reprint holding period time. On the queues that do not clear jobs, make sure the "Keep printed documents" option is not selected.

To change the setting called "keep printed documents" on the Windows Print Queue, right-click on the Printer Queue Object on the Print Server, then select Properties > then the Advanced TAB and Uncheck the box for "Keep printed documents".
