Secure Print Provisioning Stopped

Introduction 

In the Pharos Administrator, you see the Secure Printer Provisioning Service reporting as being stopped and not starting. However, printers can still be secured, and printing is working. 

Resolution

This is a known issue when the LogSetter tool is set to "verbose+++(max logging)" the Pharos Administrator will not be able to determine the state of the SecurePrinterProvisioning Service, this does not impact its operational ability, it is more a defect in the Pharos Admin. Changing the LogSetter settings should resolve this issue.  

Note: This defect is only that Pharos Administrator cannot determine the state of the SecurePrinterProvisioning Service and does not affect functionality in any way. If you see the functionality being affected, please get in touch with Pharos Support, and we will investigate this further.
