Introduction
How to enable Verbose logging for the Sentry Print Service when you're facing a challenge and need to gather the log data for further investigation.
Solution
Set the logs to the highest level of logging:
To enable verbose mode Sentry logs, using one of the products listed below the "LoggingSettings.config" file to modify is listed below.
Pharos Cloud path: C:\Program Files (x86)\PharosSystems\Sentry Print Service\App_Data
HP Insights (EU/US) path: C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Sentry Print Service\App_Data
Blueprint 5.3 and greater path: C:\Program Files (x86)\PharosSystems\Sentry Print Service\App_Data
Uniprint 9.2 path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Pharos\SiteService\App_Data
Then open the file "LoggingSettings.config"
Change this line: <add key="IncludeVerbose" value="false" />
To this: <add key="IncludeVerbose" value="true" />
Then save the file.
Note: Once changes are made to the LoggingSettings.config file, the “HP Secure Print Service” or “Pharos Systems Sentry Print Service” service must be restarted.
Once you have the Verbose logging enabled then please re-create the problem you are experiencing then ZIP up the whole folder mentioned below and provide this ZIP file to Pharos Support.
These are stored in the below file paths for our products.
Pharos Cloud path: C:\ProgramData\PharosSystems\Sentry Print Service

Blueprint 5.3 and greater path: C:\ProgramData\PharosSystems\Sentry Print Service
Uniprint 9.2 path: C:\ProgramData\PharosSystems\SiteService
If sharing the logs with Pharos Support, please provide all applicable information. Things like the date and time you re-created the problem and any other pertinent user information and device information.
