# Spool File Encryption on Collector Servers

### Question

Are the print spool files stored on the Blueprint Collector Servers encrypted?

### Answer

Yes, beginning with Blueprint 5.1, all the spool files stored at rest are encrypted and a way to decrypt them is not available. The type of encryption encoding implemented is the AES with a 256 bit key in OFB mode.
