# Unable to retrieve the full list of Reports. Specified SQL Server not found.

### Problem

When installing Pharos Reports, you receive the error message "Unable to retrieve the full list of Reports. [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen(Connect()).] Specified SQL Server not found."

### Solution

The computer you are running Pharos Reports on must have access to the SQL server where the Pharos Database resides via TCP port 1433. Pharos Reports uses a System DSN ODBC connection directly to the Pharos database and that is why this connection is required. Additionally, also make sure that the UDP port 1434 is also opened on the server.

You need to also make sure that the SQL Server Name used for the Pharos Reports System DSN in ODBC is also correct. You can find this out by checking the registry for the SQL server that the Pharos DB service is connected to.

Should the problem persist, please reach out to Pharos Support and we’ll be happy to assist.
