# Uniprint: Diebold ETI Gateway configuration

Attached the installation documentation along with the dc_svr.cfg sample that will need to be configured on site.

The process for installation and configuration as follows

1. Install the Pharos Gateway
2. Swipe the cards through a mag reader attached to a PC
3. Capture the output from the swipe using notepad
4. Start the Gateway configuration program and add a new card type using the data captured
5. Use the documentation to configure the regular expression and discuss with the Diebold folks which items are actually being used on the card
6. Enter the appropriate card field definitions and save
7. Modify the dc_srv.cfg file after discussing the correct file parameters with the diebold folks

NOTE: the Cryptokey is important!

1. Save the file and restart the gateway
2. Edit the included ETIbal.bat with the correct card information, save and execute a test run
3. You should receive a balance back from the ETI system if everything went well.
4. Next configure a Pharos Station to use the ETI bank.
