# Uniprint on SQL Managed Instance

### Problem

You want to find out whether Pharos Uniprint can run on an Azure Managed SQL instance.

### Information

Uniprint does not depend upon where the SQL server lives. It is more about “How’s the connectivity” to the Azure Cloud. Is it via some VPN tunnel from on-prem to cloud, is it fast or slow or does it have occasional connectivity problems. If all those things are in check and the connectivity is reliable, it should work with Azure SQL managed instance without any problems.
