# Uniprint: Package builder does not launch.

**Problem:**

When you try to run the Package Builder to build an Install Package you receive the below error:

***"Error while trying to execute packagecreator\PackageBuilder.exe: %1 is not a valid Win32 application"***

---

**Answer:**

This problem is known to occur under the following conditions:

1. The path to the Pharos installation contains spaces, e.g C:\Program Files\Pharos
2. A file exists that matches the path up to one of the spaces, for example C:\Program

Additionally, if an executable file exists with a similar name, for example C:\Program.exe, it will be launched instead of the package builder.

Possible workarounds include removing or renaming the offending file, or moving the Pharos installation to a path without spaces (e.g C:\Pharos).
