# Uniprint Suite - install stops with error message "Pharos cannot be installed"

When running setup.exe from the Uniprint CD, the installation begins and then stops immediately with the error "Pharos cannot be installed". Alternatively, running a standalone installer such as the Pharos Station client installer, might display the message "Failed to initialize PSInst32.dll". No additional information is provided. What should I do?

Verify that the Windows Print Spooler service is started. If it is not running, the installers/upgraders will abort the process.
