Uniprint 9.2 Popup Client Configurator Tool Revision 345

This update addresses known problems with Uniprint 9.2. Installing the update is recommended for all users.

Before You Start

• This hot-fix should only be applied to Uniprint Suite 9.2.10000 installations.

Installation

The update affects building of Popup Packages, and should be applied to every computer with a copy of Pharos Administrator from which the "Build Package" command is at all likely to be run.

To apply the update:

1. On each Pharos Administrator machine, copy the supplied Popupmodule.exe file to the Pharos\bin\PackageCreator\StaticModules folder.

• In Pharos Administrator, in the Package Definitions context, select all packages and click on the Build Packages action to re-build existing Packages.

• On the Server where the Popup Packages are built to (check the Package Build Location under Packages Global Settings in Administrator), open the inetpub\wwwroot\Uniprint\modules folder and confirm that the PopupModule.exe version stored there has been updated during the package build process.

• Reinstall Popup packages on existing clients or, if the Automatic Updater is installed on existing clients, allow the Automatic Updater to update the clients in due course.

The version number of the replacement files are 9.2.10000.345

Details

This update addresses the following issues:

• On Popup Client workstations with large numbers of running processes, the Popup Configurator tool may fail to find 'Last Answers' when attempting the 'Clear Last Answers' action. This update ensures large numbers of processes do not impact the Last Answers functionality.
