Failed to initiate Logon DLL because 'Could not open com port!' Could not initialize card reader. Please contact the administrator"

Recieveing this error when trying to use a Jamex device with the latest DLL and a USB version of the Jamex Coin Box.

Error: "Failed to initiate Logon DLL because 'Could not open com port!' Could not initialize card reader. Please contact the administrator"

How to configure the Jamex Coin Box to use the USB port on a Pharos PC Station and not the serial port?

1. Download and install the following driver "CDM_2.04.16.exe" from the below web site under the section for the OS Windows XP.

   NOTE: The website also has instruction documents on how to install this driver and determine which COM Port is virtually mapped to the USB port.

2. On the Pharos Station go to Start > Programs > Pharos > Pharos Station Logon DLL Configuration and select the new COM Port to use.

3. Start the Station executable and the error should now go away.
