Overview
The client secret for the Pharos Secure Release app may be set for expiry in Microsoft Azure and will need to be changed. The following steps detail the process for changing it.
Prerequisites
You have already setup the app by going through the steps in our guide - https://doc.pharos.com/cloud/C_Topics/Administrators/Configure-SecurePrint-OIDC.htm
Solution
Locate the Pharos Secure Release app in Azure/Entra.
Under Manage, select Certificates & Secrets. Click the New client secret button:
Fill in the Add a client secret page:
Enter a Description that identifies the client secret. For example, Secure Release.
Select the option to Never expire the secret.
Click the Add button when completed.
Copy the Value of the client secret (use the copy feature beside the value and copy to the clipboard). The value will be used later in this procedure.
Delete the old client secret (this step is very important).
In Insights/Pharos Cloud, replace the value of the client secret with the new one copied in the clipboard at the following locations>>> Secure > Settings > User Authentication Providers and Profile > Single Sign-on Configuration tab.
