I get the following error in the HP iMFP log saying:
"Logon denied This terminal does not allow to charge to personal account"
in a Blueprint environment.
This is a known issue and here is a possible scenario to replicate the error:
Upgrade the current HP iMFP firmware to a newer version.
Replace the old HP iMFP config file with the new iMFP config file.
Solution:
Edit the HP iMFP.terminal.config to enable the PropertyHidden value to true
<Property Clonable="true" Advanced="false" Hidden="false" Type="combobox">
<IniSection>third party charging</IniSection>
<IniLabel>collect cost centers at omega for</IniLabel>
<Name>Select Cost Centers At HP iMFP For</Name>
<Tab>Third Party Charging</Tab>
<HelpId>120001</HelpId>
<Default>Copying and Printing</Default>
<TypeAttributes>
<ListEntry Display="Copying and Printing" IniValue="2" />
</TypeAttributes>
<Override ProductName="Blueprint">
<Property Hidden="true">
<Default>Copying and Printing</Default>
</Property>
</Override>
</Property>
Start up Blueprint Administrator and make sure the "Allow Charge to Personal Account" setting is enabled under the HP iMFP Configuration.
For each HP iMFP terminal that existed prior to replacing the config file un-tick the setting Allow Charge to Personal Account under the HP iFMP Configuration tab.
Now you should not see that error again.
