Pharos iMFP for HP - Recommended Engine Firmware

What is the recommended Firmware to be installed on the HP Device when using Pharos HP iMFP Software Solution?

In January 2010 HP released an updated set of firmware for their 'M' series devices. This firmware update optimizes the user login time. Combined with the Pharos iMFP for HP version 2.4.9 we now have the fasted log on and log off times yet for HP. The combined solution now provides login times as fast as 6 seconds (to the fully populated print release screen.

Pharos recommends that all new iMFP for HP installations be made in conjunction with this new engine firmware. It is further recommended that existing installations plan a time to upgrade to Pharos iMFP for HP version 2.4.9 along with the new HP engine firmware.

The table below (and attachment to this article) provides the recommended HP engine firmware by model. This firmware can be found on the HP support web site at www.hp.com.
