This issue is typically caused by a corrupted installation or version mismatch in the Pharos Print Station software.

Resolution Steps

  1. Uninstall Pharos Station Software:
    • Go to Start > All Programs > Pharos.
    • Right-click on Uninstaller and choose Run as administrator.
  2. Delete Desktop Shortcuts:
    • Remove all Pharos-related shortcuts from the desktop.
  3. Delete Program Folders:
    • Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ and delete the Pharos folder (and PharosSystems folder if present).
  4. Delete ProgramData Folders:
    • Navigate to C:\ProgramData\ and delete the Pharos folder (and PharosSystems folder if present).
    • Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default. Make sure to enable "Show hidden files" in File Explorer.
  5. Restart the Computer.
  6. Copy Installer from Server:
    • On the print or primary server, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Pharos\Client Installers\
    • Copy the file PharosStationInstaller.exe to the affected workstation.
    • This ensures both server and client are running the same version of Pharos.
  7. Reinstall Pharos Print Station:
    • Right-click on PharosStationInstaller.exe and select Run as administrator.
    • Complete the installation process.

Expected Result
