Problem
You built an install package using generic drivers. When installed, users are only able to print in black and white due to using generic drivers. You have tried adjusting the printer's settings and properties on the print server but could not find a way that allows users to print in color.

The Pharos Package takes on the settings of the Print Queue that is configured in Windows and if this has Color disabled, it will copy those settings to the client during installation. Our recommendation in this case would be to build a new package with the correct drivers so the printer can print in color as the generic driver might be missing the option.
