Uniprint 9.1 Web Services Update June 2024

Before You Start

• This hot-fix should be applied to installations using Uniprint Suite 9.1 Service Pack 3. The update should only take a few minutes to complete.

Installation

The update affects both Uniprint and SignUp customers and should be applied to all machines running the Pharos Uniprint Web components.

For Customers using SignUp Computer Management:

1. Download the SignUpNerveCenterRev344.zip file from the Uniprint Hot Fixes web page. In the file properties, unblock the zip file, then unzip the file.

2. On the Pharos Web Services machine (IIS Server where the Uniprint and SignUp Nerve Center web pages are installed), perform the following steps:

   1. Copy the supplied files to the inetpub\wwwroot\SignUp directory, overwriting the existing files.

   2. Note this includes pasting the HelpHeader.asp to the inetpub\wwwroot\SignUp\Help directory.

For Customers that do not use SignUp Computer Management:

1. Either follow the instructions above for SignUp files replacement, or:

2. On the Pharos Web Services machine (the IIS Server running the Uniprint Popup Package download page), locate the inetpub\wwwroot\SignUp directory and delete the contents of the \SignUp directory. This will not impact the functionality of the Uniprint popup packages web page or any other Uniprint functionality.

• Security Update. This update addresses known security issues on the Uniprint Web Services server.
