Changed Domain on server - " Unable to login user 'pharos' "

I am trying to change the domain name that the Pharos server is running on and after changing the domain on the computer and in Pharos and rebooting the server, Pharos does not connect to the instance of SQL Server located on the local machine with the error message "Login failed for user 'pharos' and shows corresponding error in SQL log file:

2008-03-19 17:53:39.40 Logon  Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 10.

The "State: 10" is a known bug in Microsoft at this time and see the attached links for further information.

Upon locating the SQL log files for the SQL Server Located on the local machine, find below an excerpt:
